Due to climate situation, countries need to reduce its CO2 emissions. However, daily life needs this gas in usual processes. Recovering and purifying these gases in order to reuse them, it is an economic solution who offers new business opportunities.

New Value Chains

Production of "green CO2" commercial gas, as a new raw material / circular product

Testing the "green CO2" commercial gas at a greenhouse (Agro-industry) and other industrial sectors in their production processes.

Ecolabelling

To develop an eco-labelling scheme, based in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EDP) for the new product "green CO2".

The CO2 product life cycle assessment, will be compared in 3 different scenes, according to the different production technologies and procedures commonly used and the production proposed in the LIFE project:

Building the pilot plant

Place where the CO2 capturing, cleaning and obtaining plant will be located.

 

In order to turn the CO2 contained in the gases from biomass combustion into a market product, it is necessary, first, to isolate it from the rest of components. This separation will take place in the CO2 plant. After the capture and separation of the gas, the next step is to purify it, removing impurities and unwished particles, to achieve the quality required. In this case, it will be obtained industrial, food and medicinal quality.
