A new CO2 plant will be built and integrated with the existing biomass power plant located in the Environmental Industrial Park at Garray (Soria), to capture and liquate gases emitted by the energy plant.
To transform the CO2 content in the biomass gases into a new product with an added value that can be integrated in new value chains in different industrial processes it is needed to separate the CO2 from the rest of gases and compounds present in the biomass combustion gases.
This separation will be carried out in the CO2 Plant with a chemical process that will produce Industrial quality CO2 (50 t/day) to be used in a Greenhouse, or in food industries such as carbonated drinks.
