ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION FOR THE GREEN CO2

The LIFE CO₂IntBio project has developed the first type III ecolabel, a Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) product derived from the capture of CO₂.

This EPD is based in the Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) methodology, and it allows to describe the environmental impacts of the green CO₂ production and to compare similar products that have followed the same Product Category Rules (specific criteria for LCA that are determined for a type of product; in this case, it is PCR 2021.03 Basic Chemicals from the Environdec portal).
