LIFE CO2IntBio PROJECT BASELINE REPORT

The Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) is a methodology that allows the evaluation of the environmental impacts of a product or service. 

In this case, thanks to the LCA it is possible to compare the environmental impacts associated to the CO₂ synthesis in different manufacturing scenarios, analysing the impacts of the different lyfe cycle stages for every production case: obtaining raw materials, manufacturing, distribution, use and end of life.

Specific, the LIFE CO₂IntBio project report, asses the impact of  CO₂ synthesis:

1. From natural gas combustion.
2. From industrial gases recuperation.

Those are the business as usual production processes of CO₂ gas for commercial use.
